Theron R. Wilkerson

Theron Ralph Wilkerson, age 87, Marshalltown, Iowa, born in Tama County, Iowa, on December 8, 1938, passed away at UnityPoint Health – Grundy County Memorial Hospital on October 4, 2026. Religious denomination: Methodist.

Beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, & great-grandfather.

He worked for Iowa Electric 7 years in Gladbrook and 22 years in Marshalltown. Retired in 1997. He had various mechanical jobs, worked at Fisher’s, Borden Dairy, Chicago Northwestern Railroad.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Pearl; two siblings, Harold and Karlene (Sells), and wife Doris Wolfe Wilkerson of 38 years.

Previously married to Elaine Judge Wilkerson.

Survived by three biological children, Sharon, Cindy and Dale; five stepchildren, Kristy, Cindy, Jill, Laurie, and Lisa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Wayne (Shirley) and Lynn (Lorraine).

Per Theron’s wishes, cremation rites will take place and there will be no formal services held. Memorial donations may be directed the family for later designation in Theron’s name.
