Thomas James Wignall

Thomas James Wignall, age 75, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on April 19, 2024 at Mercy One Hospital in Des Moines.

As per his wishes and his family, cremation rites will be accorded. A family-led graveside service is scheduled for Friday, May 10th, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens of Marshalltown. Thomas James Wignall was born December 4th, 1948. He was the son of Jim and Grace (Baker) Wignall. Tom attended and graduated from the Marshalltown School District. After attending college, Thomas soon joined the work force. He was a self- employed auto mechanic with body shop skills. On his free time, Tom enjoyed watching the History channel, and being a dog-trainer who had a passion for hotrods and classic cars.

Left to cherish his memory is his life partner of 21 years, Karen Corwin Hayward, his children; Crystal Benevides, James “Jimmy” Wignall, and Amber Huber, his grandchildren; Brandon, Harlee, Triston Marino, Zachary, Jordan, Nat, Hailey, Johnny, and Toby; his great-grand daughter Eva, and his cat Booger.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Grace.
