Timothy Hughes

Timothy Hughes, 58, of Marshalltown, formerly of Des Moines, died Friday, October 16th, at the MMSC. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 20th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Haverhill. Ph 641-844-1234. Born on August 5th, 1951, in Marshalltown, he was the son of Thomas and Darlene (Klaas) Hughes. He received his education through the St. Marys School, Lenihan School and later MHS. He was a musician most of his life and did various jobs associated with the music profession including DJing and giving lessons. He was always in the Catholic Faith no matter his residence. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Darlene of Polk City, sister Diana Kimberley-Parkins of Urbandale, brother Daniel Dean Hughes of Polk City, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In death he has rejoined his father, brother Terry and grandparents.
