Timothy Jamell

Timothy Lee Jamell, 52, of Marshalltown passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at his home. Funeral services for Tim will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will be Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family. Tim Jamell was born on June 3, 1963 in Marshalltown to Richard and Connie Weaver Jamell. Tim graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1982. He was united in marriage to the mother of his children; Lynn Russell on May 5, 1985 and they later divorced. Tim had worked in construction and helped his friend on the farm. He enjoyed lifting weights and riding his motorcycles, but especially loved the times he was able to be with his grandchildren. Tim is survived by his children: Jessica (Alan) Burgess of Waverly, BilliJo Jamell of Marshalltown and Bobbie (Tim) Stern of Marshalltown. Mother: Connie Jamell. Grandchildren: McKenna Burgess, Cameo Burgess, Tarin Stern, Bryton Stern, Angelie Stern, Amaya Stern, Alaiah Fontanini and Addilyn Peters and siblings Jamie Carlund of Virginia and Jerry Jamell of Marshalltown. Tim is preceded in death by his father Richard Jamell, grandparents Francis Jamell, Salem Jamell, Gladys Weaver and Elmer Weaver and grandson Perry Burgess.
