Timothy Rahn

Tim Rahn, 48, of Ferguson, Iowa, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at Mary Greely Medical Center in Ames, Iowa surrounded by his family. Timothy Allen Rahn was born October 30, 1973 to parents Gary and Hope (Holtry) Rahn at Marshalltown Hospital. He attended LDF School. He held several jobs over the years: worked for Sunset Trailer Sale, electrical, Cessford Construction, laid carpet, and was a mechanic. In his pastime he loved to ride four wheelers, run RC cars and boats, give his dog, Bo, rides in the car and four-wheeler, and most of all, play with his grandson and spend time with family. Tim was joined in marriage to Sonya Randolph on June 5, 2004 at the Izack Walton League in Marshalltown, Iowa. Tim is survived by his parents: Gary and Hope Rahn; his wife, Sonya Rahn; his daughters: Chalee, Destiny, Daysha and son, T.J. Rahn; stepsons: Justin and Jacob Phillips; brother, Brian Rahn; sisters: Brenda (Rick) Burchard and Tammy (Jeff) Hood; and his grandson, Arcelo Morales, all of Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Rahn; his grandparents: Leo and Mary Hope (Douglas) Holtry and Larry and Vergie Rahn; niece, Michaela Page Rahn; uncles: Joe Holtry and John Holtry; and a cousin, Mikie Holtry. -- Lovingly written by the family
