Tina Carson

Tina L Carson, 57, of Marshalltown, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Unity Point in Marshalltown. Memorial services for Tina will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. until the service time. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Tina and her family. Tina Ball was born on July 7, 1964 in Macon, Georgia to Charles and Donna (Wagner) Ball. Tina graduated from high school in California in 1982. On August 1, 2001, Tina was united in marriage to Thomas Carson in Mesquite, Colorado. Tina and Tom resided in California after marriage and moved to Marshalltown sixteen years ago. Tina was a loving and devoted mother. She enjoyed painting, crafts, reading and playing games on her phone. Tina is survived by her husband of almost 21 years, Tom. Children: Randall Murrieta of Des Moines, Ashley (Pete) Barraco of Houston, Texas and Derek (Nichole) Carson of Marshalltown. Grandchildren: Ryland Murrieta, Carlo Barraco and Sophia Barraco. She is also survived by siblings: Lori Hutchins and Danny Ball of Georgia. Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Donna and her brother, Joey Ball.
