Todd Michael Weiser, 29, of Champaign, IL, died Monday, September 21, 2009.Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. (Thursby) Weiser. He graduated with Marshalltown High School Class of 1999. He attended MCC for 1 year and then graduated from the University of Iowa in 2005. On April 4, 2009, Todd married Ellen Samuel in Dubuque, Iowa. The couple lived in Champaign, Illinois. Todd worked for Progressive Insurance in Champaign and Hawkeye Claims in Des Moines. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, Iowa Hawkeye football and the ChicagoCubs.Todd is survived by his wife, Ellen, of Champaign; his parents, Michael and Colleen Weiser of Marshalltown; his sister, Stacey (Jeff) Nichols of Liscomb; his nephew, Boden Nichols; his in-laws, Avis Rudner of Forrest Park, IL, and Ron Samuel of Chicago, IL; his grandfather, Robert Weiser of Council Bluffs; and his grandmother, Goldie Thursby of Marshalltown.In death, he has rejoined his grandmother Arlene Weiser and his grandfather Willard Thursby.
