Tonya Van Hauen, 55, of Twin Acres Campground, Iowa, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. As Tonya requested there will be no services and cremation has been accorded. Tonya Denise Arkland was born in Eldora, Iowa; she was the daughter of Dennis Arkland and Sharon K. Noble. She attended school in the area of her birth. On January 11, 2013, she was united in marriage to Jon Van Hauen in Tama, Iowa, and they had resided at Twin Acres. Tonya had been a housewife. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, decorating, and was an amazing artist. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jon, her children, Heather Wood of Nevada, Iowa, Aaron Wood of Boone and Kelsey Dolash of Marshalltown, grandson Cooper Wood-Burnett, siblings, Sonia Pikna of Grundy Center and Lisa Arkland of Mitchell, South Dakota. In death she rejoins her mother, Sharon and grandson, Milo Wood- Burnet.
