Tracy Mason, 46, of State Center, died early Friday, September 10, 2010, at the Iowa River Hospice Home. The family would like to thank Iowa River Hospice for all the care they provided to Tracy and his family. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Following the services, the family would like to invite all those who attended, and those who couldnt, to the Braddy family farm for a time of fellowship and refreshments. Phone 641-844-1234.Tracy Lynn Mason was born on October 11, 1963, in Marshalltown. He was the son of Robert and Pat (Keoppel) Braddy. Tracy graduated from West Marshall High School. After high school, Tracy moved to Crete, Nebraska. He later lived in Greeley, Colorado, Bullhead City, Arizona, and most recently Rock Springs, Wyoming, before returning to his parents home in State Center. On June 15, 1991, Tracy married Leah Breitkreutz in Crete, Nebraska. To this union, a son, Alex Mason, was born. The couple later divorced but remained close friends.Tracy was employed at Farmland Meat in Crete, Nebraska. He then operated his own business as a private contractor in Colorado, Arizona, and Wyoming doing warranty work on mobile homes and modular homes. He enjoyed remodeling houses and fishing. He also loved computers and fixing them. He loved being with his family.Left to mourn his loss are his parents Pat (Bob) Braddy of State Center; his son Alex Mason of Box Elder, South Dakota; his siblings Laura (Jerry) Lanning of Melbourne, Brenda (Mark) Haskell of Melbourne, Vernon (Mindy) Braddy of State Center, and Beth (Martin) Sebok of Lakenheath, United Kingdom; his nieces and nephews Julie Lanning, Tyler and Brandon Haskell, Cody and Levi Braddy, and Robert and Megan Sebok; and his uncle John Keoppel of Alberton, MT.In death he rejoins his grandparents and his uncle Paul Keoppel.
