Trevor Sirdoreus

Trevor Dustin Sirdoreus, 43, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Services for Trevor will take place Friday, January 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Trevor was born August 19, 1979 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Shelly Sirdoreus. He attended Marshalltown High School, being active in track and excelled as a wrestler. After graduating in 1998 he later went on to obtain his Associates Degree at DMACC in Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technology with a Certificate of Specialization in Building Maintenance, maintaining a 3.5 GPA or above every semester. Trevor met the love of his life, Lindsey Barber, in 2001 and they were united in marriage May 6, 2006. He worked as a Facilities Technician for Kum & Go for the last ten years. He loved music, especially the Blues, and going to live shows. He was a die-hard Detroit Lions fan and never missed an Iowa Hawkeyes basketball game. In his free time he enjoyed competing in BBQ competitions, going bowling, playing foosball and especially riding his Harley. He was the king of relaxing with a beverage in his at home pool.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 21 years, Lindsey; children: Barry Ecklor and Alyssa (Jay) Danner; one granddaughter, Amelia Marie Danner; his mom, Shelly (TR) Mead; siblings: Lorili “Lori” Sirdoreus Tuttle, Casey Sirdoreus and Matthew (Sara) Barber; grandma Velda; nine nephews; two nieces and his pets, Foxy and Millie.

He is preceded in death by his grandma Charlotte, his grandpa Fred and three cousins.
