An angel earned his wings early Monday morning when Tyler J. Harris, 13, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was the son of Tom Harris and Tina Eubanks. Tyler was entering the 8th grade at Miller Middle School in Marshalltown. He loved to ride his ATV, paint pottery and on canvas, play video games, and he will be remembered for being a prankster. Left to cherish his memory are his parents: Tom and Judy Harris of Polk City, Iowa, Tina and Chad Eubanks of Marshalltown, Iowa; step-brother and sister: Ryan and Alyssa Nichols. Grandparents: Kathy Scott of Des Moines, C.R. Scott of Marshalltown, Iowa Nancy Harris of Marshalltown Iowa, and Ray(Cathy) Harris of New Virginia, Iowa. Step-Grandparents: John Berninghaus and Dean and Althea Eubanks. In death Tyler rejoins his great-grandmother, Gertrude Leibfried, and step-grandmother, Patricia Berninghaus.
