Tyler David Miell, 28, of Council Bluffs, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at his home. Funeral services for Tyler will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Memorials may be directed to the family. Tyler Miell was born on February 18, 1994 in Omaha, Nebraska to Kent and Angie (Tomlinson) Miell. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs in 2012. Tyler was a good athlete and enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and football. Tyler had been employed with McDonald’s. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and loved to play cards. Tyler loved his family very much and was a good uncle to his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family. Tyler is survived by his father, Kent Miell of Pueblo, Colorado; siblings: Gage (Kristen) Miell of Colorado, Jack Roof of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Amber (Matt) Wulk of Treynor, Iowa, Drew (Taylor) Raum of Traer, Iowa and Ashley (Cody) Kinser or Omaha, Nebraska; aunt, Beth (David) Wiese of Montour, Iowa; uncles: Steve (Kathy) Miell of Gladbrook, Iowa, Greg Miell of Gladbrook, Iowa and Kelly (Shana) Miell of Saugus, California. He is also survived by grandparents: Larry and Shirley Miell of Gladbrook, Iowa and Jackie Tomlinson and Wade Roberts of Fort Dodge, Iowa along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Tyler is preceded in death by his mother, Angie Miell and his step-mother, Daphne Miell.
