Tyrone Lamont Eatmon, born on September 28, 1991, in Durham, North Carolina, passed away on February 8, 2025, in Iowa City Iowa after a short-term illness.


Tyrone is survived by his loving parents, siblings, and many nieces and nephews., his cherished daughter Za'Kariahh , age 10, his beloved sons Roman, age 7, and Jericho, age 9 (Cassie Ford), and his devoted fiancée, Tabatha Davis Frazier.

Tyrone was known for his selfless nature and dedication to helping others in the community. He was always there to lend a helping hand, whether it was assisting someone with a move, buying groceries for a family in need, or ensuring that children had Christmas presents when they might not have received any otherwise. He was known for his huge heart.


Ty had a special bond with all children, and was often described as a "big kid" himself. His generosity, kindness, and playful spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew him.


He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life for Tyrone will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown.
