Vicki Lynn Robinette

Vicki Lynn Mattson (Mrs. Michael) Robinette, 52, of 307 South 4th Avenue, Marshalltown, died Friday, July 20th, at her home. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hope United Methodist Church. There will be no visitation. For condolences, please visit www.mitchellfh.com. Born Vicki Lynn Mattson on March 16th, 1955, in Marshalltown, she was the daughter of Roger and Beverley (Stone) Mattson. She received her education in the area of her birth. On May 10th, 1974, she was united in marriage to Michael Robinette at the Grace United Methodist Church in Marshalltown. They have made their home in Marshalltown all of their married lives where she was employed at Uncle Jacks, Villa del Sol, The Diet Center, Taco Johns, and the Vet Clinic in Marshalltown. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church. She enjoyed people and helping others, her pets who were like children to her, her angel collection, movies and music. Left to mourn her loss are her husband, Mike, her mother Beverley Mattson of Marshalltown, sister Linda Matney of Marshalltown and brother Thomas (Janet) Mattson of Lisbon, Iowa, brother-in-law David Robinette (Pat Gauerke) of Cedar Rapids, sister-in-law Kathy (Rick) White of Marshalltown, mother-in-law, Aletha Robinette of Marshalltown, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In death she has rejoined her father, Roger, grandparents Harold and Alice Mattson and Frank and Iona Stone.
