Vicky (Wengert) Jackson

Vicky (Wengert) Jackson, age 79, of Rhodes, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Glenwood Place Assisted Living in Marshalltown, IA.

Per Vicky and her family, cremation rites will be accorded. A family-led memorial service for Vicky and her husband, Lee, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Rhodes United Methodist Church. Their burial will be in Eden Cemetery in Rhodes. Mitchell Family Funeral Home of Marshalltown has been entrusted to care for Vicky and her family. Vicky Jackson was born July 23, 1945 in Marshalltown, the daughter of Vyron and Winifred (Hildebrand) Wengert. She graduated in the Class of 1963 from West Marshall High School.

On April 24, 2004, Vicky was united in marriage with Lee Jackson at the Rhodes Methodist Church.

Vicky worked for Cooper Manufacturing in Marshalltown as a production floor laborer until her retirement. She was a member of the Red Hat Club. Vicky enjoyed her time gardening and landscaping and watching baseball games.

Vicky was preceded in death by her parents, Vyron and Winifred; stepdaughter, Jennifer Jackson; her sister, Sue Duff; and niece, Michelle. Left to cherish her memory, her husband, Lee; son, Robert Hildreth; stepdaughters, Deanna (Brett) Edwards and Tammy Shelley; grandchildren, Kacee Hildreth and Koddy (Ashlyn) Hildreth. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Kinzliegh, Ava and Wyatt; and her niece, Marcy.
