Victoria Earhart

Victoria Lee Earhart, 62, of Marshalltown, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 surrounded by her family at home and under the care of the Iowa River Hospice Home. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. After the gathering at Mitchell Funeral Home, friends are invited to the Salvation Army from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for another gathering by the family. Memorials may be directed to the family. Victoria McFarland was born on October 28, 1952 in Marshalltown to Fred and Frances Tesar McFarland. Victoria graduated from Marshalltown High School with the class of 1970. After finding her soulmate; Victoria married Robert Earhart on February 26, 1973, in Bethany, Missouri. Victoria had worked for MACH, Iowa Veterans Home and at Grandview Heights as a Med Aide. She most recently worked in cleaning at Cessford Construction. Victoria was a computer whiz and loved to make stationary, she enjoyed playing Yahtzee with her mother and friends. She also enjoyed to go camping but above all else cherished the time she spent with her family and helping other people. Victoria is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert. Children: Robert J Earhart of Cedar Rapids, Lori Niehus of Marshalltown, Jimmy Lutes of Fort Myers, Florida, Joey Lutes of Marshalltown and Tracy Earhart of Marshalltown, her mother Frances McFarland, Grandchildren: Sammie, Caleb and Presley Daggett and great grandchild Stormmieleigh Clawson. She is also survived by her brother Nicholas (Diane) McFarland of Marshalltown, nephews Matthew Readout of Marshalltown, Tory McFarland of Marshalltown and many other family members. Victoria is preceded in death by her father Fred McFarland.
