Victoria Hanson

Victoria Hanson, 51 of Union, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Visitation for Victoria will be held on Friday July 26, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be on Saturday July 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Whitten Community Church in Whitten. Memorials may be directed towards the family. Victoria Ann Haggard was born on February 26, 1962, in Webster City, Iowa, to David and Marlys Stafford Haggard. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1980. On July 6, 1996 she was united in marriage to Rod Hanson in Woolstock. Victoria was self-employed as a pet groomer. She was a member of the Stampin up Club, Whitten Community Church, as well as the Scrap Booking Club. She also enjoyed camping, baking and above all else enjoyed the time with her granddaughters and her family. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 17 years Rod; daughters: Billie Jo Nelson of Union and Jenn (Nathan Wallerich) Hanson of Mount Vernon; son Brent Hanson of Marshalltown; granddaughters: Vanessa Wickett, Bria Wallerich and Keke Wallerich; sister Kandis (Laurence) Howell of Dows; brother David (Lisa) Haggard of Webster City; aunt Bessie (Mike) Foster; mother and father in law Eleanor and Raymond Hanson and sister in law Diane Hanson. Victoria is preceded in death by both of her parents; sisters: Lori Caquelin and Karen Anderson and a brother in law Howard Anderson.
