On September 27, 1942 Vivian married the love of her life Daryl Dennis at Central Christian Church in Marhalltown. The two made their home in rural Marshalltown on a farm and enjoyed the life that came with it. Vivian was a busy woman holding memberships in the; First Presbyterian Church in Conrad, the American Legion Auxiliary #681, 3M Club and Village & Vale. Vivian also volunteered her time at the GMG Elementary School, Conrad Main Street and Oakview Nursing Home. Vivian was a great quilter and had many beautiful quilts that she had put her loving touch on. She was a sports fan as well, cheering on the BCLUW Comets Softball Team, and she enjoyed watching college basketball. The one thing that Vivian truly loved was her family and spending time with them every chance she had. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Mary Ann (Eugene) Miller, granddaughters Cimber (Jeffrey) Strayer, and Bobbie (Joseph) Heitink, and great-grandchildren Tyson, Austin Strayer, and Tyler, Colby Heitink. Vivian is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Daryl, her parents, brother and an infant great-grandson.
