Waneta Morgan

Waneta Morgan, 71, of Tama, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2016, at the Iowa River Hospice Home with her loving family by her side. Following Wanetas wishes there will be no public services held at this time. Memorial contributions may be directed in Wanetas name to the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Waneta Mae Thede was born on December 27, 1944, in Marshalltown, IA. She was the daughter of Christian and Wanda (Hofer) Thede. She was raised and educated in the Sumner school district graduating from Sumner High School. Following high school, Waneta was united in marriage to Lester Litwiler. From this union they had one son, Terry Litwiler. The two later divorced. Later in life, Waneta married Sharm Morgan and the two made Tama, IA their home until her passing. She was a hard working woman, dedicating her working years with Strommer Rexall Drug as a clerk. She had a passion for singing, being in plays and the community theater, but her biggest passion in life was her family. Left to cherish Wanetas memory is her husband, Sharm Morgan; son, Terry (Tammy) Litwiler; grandchildren: Tyler, Taylor, Terra and Tessa (Josh) Kramer; siblings: Connie Armstrong, Sheryl (Terry) Dvorak and Mike Thede; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Wanda; one brother, Jerry; one sister, Bonnie; one brother-in-law, Rick and one sister-in-law, Cindy.
