William “Bill” Reiser, 91, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was surrounded by his loving family. Graveside services will be held on September 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Iowa River Hospice Home. William Ehrenreich Reiser was born in Burlingame, Kansas on April 14, 1927; he was the son of Frank and Flora Ethel (Barnett) Reiser. William was educated in the area of his birth. On December 24, 1959, William was united in marriage to Marilyn Joyce Drennon in Reno, Nevada and they had lived in Marshall County their entire married lives. He had worked at Gra-Iron Foundry for 27 years, until they closed their doors. He loved restoring John Deere Model D Tractors and enjoyed tractor pulls and shows. He also liked to go to auctions. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Karen (Richard) Minser of Marshalltown, Iowa, George (Lydia) Drennon of McFarland, Kansas, Delbert Paul (Gina) Drennon Jr. of Richmond, VA, Robin (Bill) Saling, Miriam Williams, Carmen (James) Zednichek, David (Ken) Bierbrodt-Reiser and Kim (James) Raggio of Iowa; one sister Ruth Ortiz Collins of Vancouver, WA, 27 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, brothers-in-law, Matt (Karen) Poole of AZ, Doug (Vicki) Poole of Marshalltown, Iowa and Tim Poole of Gladbrook, Iowa. In death William rejoins his wife, Marilyn; parents Frank and Flora; sisters, Mary Katherine and Frankie Masters; brother, John R. Reiser; sons, Raymond Landt and Charles Raymond; grandson, Marcus Cory Babinat; and great-grandsons, Thomas James Zednichek and Lexian Drennon and son-in-law, Ward Williams.
