William Duane Fitzgerald, 72, died at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa, on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.Per Williams wishes, he will be cremated; there will be no services at this time. (Swanson) Fitzgerald. He was educated in the area of his birth. He attended and graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. William had worked as an accountant throughout his working career. William had served his country honorably in the United States Army where he qualified as a sharpshooter. He had lived in Corning at Country Haven over the past number of years.William is survived by several cousins throughout the United States and his family at Country Haven in Corning
