William (Bill) E. Lyman, 65, of Fairfield, Iowa , died Wednesday September, 23, 2009 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m.Saturday September 26, 2009 at Shepard Cemetery in Union, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Bill was born December 1, 1943 in Eldora to Evan and Margaret (Callaway) Lyman. He was educated in the Union-Whitten School District. Bill has lived in the Cedar Rapids, Eldora, Iowa Falls, Gifford and Missouri areas. Bill had been an owner and Manager of several businesses in his lifetime; he was also a member of Teamsters Local #238.
