William “Bill” Rainsbarger, age 89, of Marshalltown, passed away in the morning hours of Thursday, November 26th, 2020, at the Grandview Heights in Marshalltown.         Private family graveside services will be held at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown. Ph. 641-844-1234.         Born on January 21st, 1931, at the family farm house at Eldora, Iowa, he was the son of William and Wanda (Klettke) Rainsbarger. He graduated from the Eldora High School in 1949.         He was united in marriage to Phyllis Radabaugh and together they had five children: George, Diana, Charlie, Kathy and Roger. They later divorced.         Bill was employed at Lennox Industries for many years until his retirement. He was a man who enjoyed simplicity in life and truly treasured his family. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and during retirement spending the winter in Texas with Phyllis, whom he reconnected with later in life, and shared some precious time and memories together. He made a trip to get day-old donuts for his coffee every morning and searching out “a good deal.” Bill loved his furry friends-pugs and schnauzers.         Left to cherish his memory are his children: George (Charlotte) Rainsbarger, Diana Eberhardt, Charlie (Susan) Rainsbarger, Kathy (Ari) Sklavenitis and Roger Rainsbarger; eleven grandchildren: Billy Rainsbarger, Lisa (Brian) Dougall, Danny Vibbard, Justin Eberhardt, Hallee Rainsbarger, Ethan Rainsbarger, Logan Rainsbarger, Lia Sklavenitis, Kristina Sklavenitis, Stephen Sklavenitis and Nicholas Sklavenitis; great-grandchildren- Ian Rainsbarger, Caroline Rainsbarger, Madison Dougall, Mylie Dougall, MJ Eberhardt, Rayna Eberhardt, Telly Sklavenitis and Anessa Sklavenitis, as well as his companion Phyllis and many nieces and nephews.         In death, Bill rejoined his parents and three sisters and a brother.
