Willie Edward Spencer, 65, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Willie is lovingly survived by his seven children—Meesha, Demitrius, and Terrell Spencer of Waterloo; Bailey (Lee Myles) Tufte of Colorado; Janeya Verbeek of Phoenix; Mason Spencer of Oskaloosa; and Camilla Pilkington of West Des Moines—along with seven grandchildren, a great‑grandchild on the way, his three brothers, two sisters, and many cherished nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Wilhelmina; his grandmother Daisy; and his aunt Felicia.
