Mrs. Willie M. Wilson, 82, of 709 East Anson Street, Marshalltown, died Tuesday afternoon, January 2nd, at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 6th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastors Dick Sipe and Conrad Lundberg of First Baptist Church officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5th. On February 23, 1945 she was united in marriage to William Wilson in Menlow Park, California. They made their home in California, Bruce, Mississippi, Gilman, IA, and Marshalltown. She was employed by Kiowa. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Left to mourn her loss are her daughters, Georgie (Rock) Templeton of Marshalltown and Patricia (Bob) Gehrke of Iowa Falls, grandchildren: Cheryl (Brian) Davis, Chad (Dawn) Templeton, Jen (Jake) Randall, Bret Webb and Wes Webb, and 11 great-grandchildren. In death she has rejoined her husband, William, brothers: Early, Henry, Brooks, Wayne, Grady, Bufford, Winford Brasher, and sister, Donie Long.
