Willie was born in Hampton, IA to Alma (Sandersfeld) Lindloff. Willie was the oldest child. She had a sister and two brothers. She graduated from Rockford High School in 1963. She moved to Mason City and then to Marshalltown, IA where she met the love of her life Jerry Williams. They married on April 22, 1967 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Rockford, IA. Willie was a loving stay at home mother until both of her girls were in high school. She worked at a variety of jobs. Her favorite job was taking care of the flowers at the American Legion Golf Course along with Jerry who was working with the ground crew.
Willie had a bit of a wild streak when she was younger. She skipped school to see Buddy Holly at his last concert in Clear Lake. She and her friends would run the tracks with their cars, run down Main Street with sheets over their heads and lots of good clean fun. She loved music: Buddy Holly, Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, Elvis and Willie Nelson’s Roadhouse on Sirius. Although she was not much of a Beatles fan.
She loved fishing in Northern MN at her brother-in-law's resort with her family. She was terrified of water but tolerated it for fishing. Would always have to clean us kids up when we got dirty with the cousins. She was at all the ball games and band concerts that her girls were in. Willie was a big Iowa Hawkeye fan who loved to give crap to her husband, a Cyclone fan and son-in-law, who was a Nebraska Huskers fan.
She is survived by her siblings Rose (Larry) Fitzgerald and Bill (Alexandra) Lindloff. Her sister-in-law Marilynn Lindloff. Her children Chris (Renita) Veverka, Theresa (Darin) Groeneveld and T.J. (Ron) Gorman. Her grandchildren Kinze (Clint) Pieper, Kylee (Caleb) Coale, Novella (Ellie) Gorman, Davis Gorman and Grant Gorman. Great grandchildren Paxtyn, Phenix, and Lennox. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Bob (Barb) Williams, Rick (Anna) Williams and Butch Williams. Sister-in-law Jean Howe. She is preceded in death by both her parents, her in-laws Stella and Frank Stinocher, her brother Delvern, sister-in-law’s Sandy Dannen, Janet Willimas, Edith Lindloff and brother-in-law Donny Williams and nephew Travis Lindloff.
