Yvonne "Dianne" Delay

Yvonne “Dianne” DeLay, 78, of Marshalltown, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown.

Cremated rites have been accorded and visitation for Dianne will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Yvonne “Dianne” Richardson was born on November 12, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the daughter to Dorothy Richardson. Dianne graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1964. She was united in marriage to Rex Delos DeLay on May 3, 1969 at the Methodist church in Marshalltown. Dianne had previously worked as a cosmetologist and a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, watching television, gardening and her cats.

Dianne is survived by her children: Richard DeLay of Marshalltown and Yvonne Morris of Beaver Dam, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her husband Rex, mother: Dorothy and son-in-law: Ron Morris.
