Yvonne Cecile Nauman, 74, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Phone 641-844-1234.Yvonne Cecile Miller Nauman was born March 11, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa; she was the daughter of George and Evelyn (Ford) Miller. On December 5, 1959, she was united in marriage to Rolland Ron Nauman in West Des Moines, Iowa. Yvonne had previously worked at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center as a data processor.Yvonne was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Moose Lodge in Marshalltown and a Doll Club. She was an avid shopper and loved to get new shoes, watch Food Network to make new recipes, loved to travel and cross stitch and had some of her pieces in the fair and had a passion for the Iowa Hawkeyes, and she loved her dog, Yvonnes Little Skipper but above all else she cherished her family, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Yvonne is survived by her husband of 53 years: Rolland Ron Nauman, daughter, Cindy (Burt) Shattuck, grandchildren: Lisa Nauman, Jason Nauman and Burton (Mickenzie) Shattuck, Jr, and great grandchildren: Madison, Jayden (Peaka), Cyrus, Cole, Tayte, Harper and Nathan.Yvonne was preceded in death by her father.
