Yvonne Yetley

Yvonne Bonnie F. Yetley, passed away at home in Des Moines at age 78 on Sunday, May 27th, surrounded by friends and her beloved animals. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30th, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown with her brother-in-law, Delmar Yetley officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Green Mountain Cemetery with a time of fellowship and refreshments to follow at the hospitality room of the funeral home. Bonnie was born May 20th, 1929, the daughter of Vane Brewer and Neva (Wilcox) Sirianni in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was a 1947 graduate of Marshalltown High School. She was married Ernest L. Yetley for 54 years until his death. She worked at Cooper Manufacturing in Marshalltown from 1953 until 1967 when they relocated to Des Moines, where she has lived for the past 40 years. She was a member of the Des Moines Garden Club for nearly 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, and sister, Natalie Joyce Brewer. She leaves behind her beloved pets Twinkle, Duffy, Malibu, Diddle and Squat and many, many friends to grieve for her. She will always be remembered for her generosity.
